Overview
An articulate presentation of a point of view on a controversial matter breathes new life into human concerns and prompts a reexamination and perhaps renewal of the issue. There are many issues that schools and institutions of higher education must address when deciding how to best serve the needs of students, faculty, and the community. Many issues, such as allowing cell phones in class, adopting school-wide or district-wide 1:1 initiatives, flipping the classroom, or granting academic credit for MOOCs, have generated considerable debate about their appropriateness in schools. You will select an educational issue pertaining to some use of technology in schools and you will write a 10-15 page position paper using a framework for viewing educational issues.Project 1
